EUR futures: further downside loses traction
CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR futures markets saw investors trimmed their open interest positions by more than 2.7K contracts on Friday from Thursday’s final 520,890 contracts. In the same line, volume dropped for the second session in a row, this time by around 5.3K contracts.
EUR/USD appears supported near 1.1900
The recent decline in EUR/USD seems to have met decent contention in fresh 2018 lows near the 1.1900 milestone. Despite further pullbacks are not ruled out, the pace of the decline appears diminished. This view appears reinforced by declining figures in both open interest and volume.
