UK PM May to offer Brussels GBP 20bn to kick start Brexit trade talks – The Sun
The Sun newspaper has learnt that the UK PM May is preparing to increase her Brexit divorce bill offer by up to GBP 20 billion to the EU in the first week of December sto kick start trade talks.
Key Details:
The additional money would come on top of the £18 billion the Prime Minister said she will pay to secure a transitional deal in her Florence speech in September.
Last night Brexit Department sources insisted that no final decision had been made about whether an offer would be made.
The GBP/USD pair bounced-off lows near 1.3135 region and reverted to 1.3165 on the above headlines, almost recovering the entire decline.
